Nigel Fitzgerald – Proud Owner of Lock & Key

Nigel’s experience in the industry is unrivalled in our town. His knowledge, approach and dedication to his clients is paramount to the success we have seen here at Lock & Key. In an industry where trust is paramount, Nigel is renowned as a straight talker who lives and breathes the local property market. Nigel heads up the sales team and day to day running of the business and is the driving force behind the business, he is very passionate about property.

In his downtime, Nigel is a keen sportsman and enjoys fitness/ training in his spare time. He is also glued to the football during the season, encouraging his team, Liverpool, to win the league again and again. He also fancies himself as a sports pundit on Sky Sports!

Julie Packer

Julie has been a part of the Lock & Key team for 20 years and brings a wealth of experience in the industry and the local property market. Julie has always lived in the local area and offers a detailed and insightful knowledge of your property, your street and our town. Julie’s professional and trusted approach is her biggest asset when dealing with sales. Julie’s also brings over 20 years of sales progression to the team which enables her to ensure that your sale is progressed as swift as possible but with your best interests at all times.

In her spare time, Julie enjoys walks in the local area and also catching up on her latest novel.

Alicia Gliddon

Alicia has had a wide range of accounts and administrative experience in a variety of businesses in the local area. This experience is crucial in ensuring the day to day running of the business is smooth and efficient. She also spent several years working within the medical administration and gained valuable experience in customer service at the highest level.

Alicia lives locally with her husband and children, when not spending time with them, she loves exploring the local countryside with her dog and attending Yoga classes. Alicia is also quite ‘crafty’ and enjoys being creative in making products which sell at local fairs and markets in our area.

Simon Clark

Having spent over 10 years as an estate agent, Simon moved into digital marketing in 2015 and offers a wealth of experience around social media and digital content for estate agents. Simon’s remit is to ensure that the Lock & Key brand is promoted in the local Melksham area. Simon’s experience in the property industry enables him to adopt a variety of marketing strategies to best suit our business.

When not working in the digital world, Simon enjoys spending quality time with his Wife, Cate and their 6 year old cat called Flo. (Who also has over 40,000 followers on TikTok!!)

Chris Downham

Chris supports the Lock & Key team providing financial and mortgage advice for our clients. Chris has been involved in the financial services industry since 1988. Initially working in administration then moving into management. Chris quickly moved into owning his own business over 17 years ago and enjoys helping clients to find the right solution that best suits their circumstances. Chris enjoys meeting new people and giving advice. Chris’ involvement in the process of buying and selling property in the Melksham is paramount to our business in helping clients get their dream home with the best possible advice.

Simon is a local professional adviser based in and around the Melksham, Swindon and the South West area. Having worked in the financial services sector for over 20 years, Simon took the decision to move into face-to-face financial advice in 2016. Since that time he continually updated his mortgage qualifications and achieved full financial planner status. In addition to mortgages, Simon’s diploma coursework focused on Pensions, Investments and Inheritance Tax Planning and as such, he has focused his advice areas in this line of business.
